This tablet works well both with my phone and tablet. I like that it lifts the table from the table 3" putting at a height that is very comfortable. The tablet is sturdy - it is made out of Aluminum Titanium Alloy, with pads on the borrom and lip to keep the tablet/phone from slipping. The tablet with the cover on fits as well as the phone, both work in horizontal and vertical orientation.
The tablet stand is 4.25" wide, wide enough to hold the tablet in a steady way.
The gap in the front lip 1 3/8", narrow enough to hold the phone in both orientations.
The stand weight 9.3 oz, it is well balanced and works well with my 9.5" tablet.
