The insole inserts have one sticky side and one side with three hard metal balls.  I found them very painful, and I am not able to walk on them.  I tried flat and low heel shoes; I can only tolerate the pain for a few minutes.  I wish the metal balls were removable because I think the pads would have been helpful without them.

Product review: Baby Nail File, Nail Trimmer Electric Baby Manicure Set Nail Clippers, Fingernails Care Polish Grooming Kit

 

This trimmer comes with 13 grinding heads. Even though it is aimed at babies, I use it on my toenails, and it works well.  The motor is not very strong, and if you aim at the area that is too large, it stops rotating.  By trial and error, I learned the angle and force that work. I particularly line the cone metal grinders, which allow me to trim the sharp corners of my toenails.  I like the small heads that make it easier to maneuver than the large roller callus remover I have used before.

Product review: EVITA PERONI Hair Scrunchies Black Red Cloth Elastic Ties Ponytail Holder Twist for Women

 I ordered teal color to match an outfit.  What I received is disappointing in several ways:

1. I received a pale baby blue scrunchie; it has no hint of teal; it clashes with teal.  Very disappointing since the color was my main reason for ordering it.

2. The Amazon description lists "Number of pieces is 30". I was surprised to receive just one scrunchie. $12 for one scrunchie is too high. It was packaged very nicely, in multiple bags and a paper ring with a logo, but I still would rather get plain packaging and a product that reflects the Amazon description.

3.  The scrunchie had a metal logo sewn onto it.  Because the logo has swirly openings, it caught on my hair and had to be amputated.  

4. I am not sure of the scrunchie's material, but it is not as soft and pleasant to touch as my silk scrunchies. Nothing on the packaging states material content.

Product review: TOUCHBeauty Facial Hair Trimmer Precision Shaver Removal Tool Micro Groomsman Trimmer Black TB-815

 

This little trimmer does a decent job, but it does feel very sturdy.  The cover does not seem to want to stay closed. Its motor is not as strong as  Panasonic Facial Hair Trimmer ES2113PC that I have owned for a long time.

Product review: JIGA Floor Scrub Brush 1 Pack with Long Handle

 

The head of the brush is okay, but it is not meant for wood floors (warning on the box).

The handle is lightweight and somewhat flimsy. It is made out of three sections that screw in, and they tend to unscrew as I use it, so it needs frequent tightening.  The height is not adjustable.

Bottom line: okay for quick and light clean-ups of the non-wood surfaces.

Product review: Women Electric Razor For Women,Facial Hair Remover

 

 This is a medium-size electric shaver with multiple heads.  My favorite head is the facial rotary shaver.  Because of its size, it has a stronger motor than the small rotary razors I have used in the past. It does a great job trimming unwanted hairs in one pass.

I found the on/off controls a bit awkward to use. Instead of the button, you need to rotate the shaft that opens the body of the razor, just in the opposite direction. I often rotate it in the wrong direction. I wish a button started it.

It operates on one AA battery (not included in the package).  Be aware that even though it is described as waterproof, it cannot be immersed in water; it can tolerate drops of water but not a lot of water.

Food review: SUNGIVEN Black Truffle Sauce, Made In Italy

 The content of this sauce contains a 5% truffle, with Champignon mushrooms and olives making up the majority of the content. There is so little black truffle that the ingredient list also includes a black truffle aroma. I often use black truffle-infused olive oil, so I am familiar with how nice it smells, and that flavor is hard to detect.

I used this sauce twice so far: a sauce for pasta and a sauce for poached salmon.  The sauce felt like any mushroom sauce would, I did not think it was anything special, but at the current price of $9.99 it is okay.

Complete list of the truffle sauce ingredients from the bottle: Champignon mushrooms 56%, Olive oil, Black Olives, Black summer truffle 5%, Black truffle aroma, salt.

I purchased this sauce in July 2021, and the expiration date is April of 2024.
