Product review: Phorra 2-in-1 Electric Razors for Women

 

 Phorra lady shaver includes two heads and two combs.

I like:
1. Motor is strong, shaves well
2. Motor is strong, shaver head does not get hot
3. Changing heads works smoothly and well
4. Uses generic type-C cable, no worry about losing a cable; I can have any of my other cables

I do not like:
1. No carrying case

Overall, a nice shaver that works well. The negative is relatively minor.

Product review: SUNEE Dotted Journal Spiral Notebook

 I am a list maker and use a lot of journals to keep track of things. I like dotted journals; this format lets me keep my notes neat.

I was a bit disappointed by these journals because when I received them, some pages were half torn out of the spiral and were sticking out. These pages are still usable but likely to get torn out as I write and move my hand over them, not to mention that the journal just looks "messy."

The three journals arrived packed in a cellophane envelope inside the shipping bubble mailer. The cellophane was in perfect condition, so the damage to the journals did not occur during shipping but rather is a manufacturing defect.

Product review: REACH Interdental Brush Extra Tight 0.7mm

 I have very tight teeth, and when I tried "tight brush," it was too large to fit between most of my teeth. These brushes rated as "extra tight" work just right. My teeth feel really clean.

Unlike the floss, I insert the interdental brush at the gum line, into the tiny gap between the teeth, and brush using in and out motion (not up and down).

What could be better? Instructions lack information if the tool can be used more than once or is meant to be disposable. It is also not stated how often an interdental brush should be used.

Google search tells me that it can be used for 1 or 2 weeks and should be used once a day, but I would have preferred that the package provided this information. Google search also told me that it is best to use before brushing and that regular toothpaste should not be used as it is too abrasive.

Product review: Cheribundi 100% Tart Cherry Juice

 

Cheribundi Tart Cherry Juice comes in a pack of 6 plastic pouches. The title of the items says 12 pouches. The current price for this item is 36 dollars, so it works to be $6 per pouch. It is not worth it either on effectiveness or taste.

The flavor is recognizable as tart cherry but with a medical aftertaste. The instructions said you could drink straight or dilute to taste, and I find it more pleasant when diluted. Each package is 90 calories.

I did not find the drink helpful for sleep at all. Purchase this product for flavor and hydration only.


The instructions on how to use it are practically unreadable - small dark burgundy-colored font on a black background! I had to use a bright light and a magnifying glass to figure out what it said. The manufacturer targets this product for people in their 20s whose visual acuity can handle this low contrast.

Product review: Qeblawi Rice Powder Renew Deep Clean

 

This cleaner is powdered soap. The small tub container has a "shaker" style top, which you can use to get some powder onto your hand and use as you would use soap. It does not remove makeup well. The powder is unscented. It is a bit messy to use. It is expensive. I do not see where a powder would be better than other options especially given the price.

Product review: Qeblawi Eyebrow Makeup

 This small set of makeup is well packaged and includes an applicator. I was a little disappointed in the color. I was hoping for a dark brown, where the color is light brown; I would describe it as a chocolate color. The stock photo is not accurate. It is not a good match for my eyebrows, but I can use it as an eye shadow.

Product review: The Aid to Practicing Makeup, face mask by TMEEIHNSS

 

 The mask enclosed in the package allows me to practice makeup application. It is a nice mask made out of textured silicone. The makeup does not spread exactly as it does on the skin; the makeup appears less visible. It still gives me a good idea of how the design looks.  

Even though I got the "brown" option, the skin tone is a pretty good match for my pale northern European complexion. Maybe "brown" refers to the color of the eyes. It would have been nice if I could pick an eye color to match my own.
