People claim all kinds of health benefits from the tea often when people believe something it helps them, as proven with placebo pills. However, I like Hibiscus tea for its flavor. It is delicious cold, so I drink a lot of it in the summer instead of lemonade. I enjoy it unsweetened. That alone is a health benefit because it lowers my sugar consumption.
