Product review: Therapeutic Organic Bath Powder for Dry Skin, bath water

 The powder comes in a large bottle, 9.5" tall, not counting the cap. The powder has a faint lemony scent when in the bottle, but once it dissolves, it has no scent at all. It generates no bubbles.

The bottle is hard to open; I had to use needle nose pliers to pull off the plastic ring to open the bottle. Be careful when you open the bottle; the content gets shaken during shipping, creating quite a mess as it explodes around the bottle when you open it for the first time.

The bath water with powder does seem to have a soothing effect, and I had no adverse reactions and no itching.

Product review: Lucky Chick Liquid Eyeshadow (Rose Quartz) - Warning: Not sweatproof

 

This liquid mascara is not sweatproof or waterproof! A big problem in the summer. The mascara ran into my eyes on a hot and humid day!

The color is nice and is exactly what I expected, but the applicator is not very good. The eyeshadow is hard to control and goes on too thick. I had to use my finger to make it look better.

Product review: SAFEAIR Adult Premium KF94 Mask COVID-19 disposable mask

 

 KF95 disposable masks are Korean-made product. They are called dusk masks and are not rated for medical usage. However, they provide better protection during the pandemic than fabric masks or non-medical surgical masks. I find them comfortable to wear. They cling to the face without leaving big gaps. I spent many hours wearing it during a long concert. I felt safer in a large crowd and comfortable.

KF94 disposable face masks are individually wrapped. I got a combo package with five black and five white masks. The masks have a nose clip and passed a water test. My water test: I fill the mask with water and check if it is wet on the outside after 1 minute. If it stays try, it means it keeps my spittle inside the mask and keeps other's people spittle away from me.

This mask has a different shape from all the other masks I have purchased over the last year and a half; it is shaped like a paper boat. It works pretty well; it fits close to my cheeks and covers a large area from cheekbone to cheekbone.

The only minor negative is that the mask out of the package has a bit of a scent to it. However, the scent disappears if I leave the fresh air for a few days.

The flavor of the sauce is slightly salty and sweet. We like this sauce! Works well on a variety of meats and even just veggies.

One serving size is two tablespoons, and the bottle has 12 servings. Each serving has 90 calories. One serving of this sauce has 16 grams of sugar and 2 grams of fat. The bottle is labeled as "Product of USA."

Product review: Fitglow Beauty Night Lip Serum - Sticky feeling hydration

 

Fitglow lip serum comes in a nice-looking container with a soft tip dispenser similar to a lip gloss.  It kept my lips moist, but I did not like how sticky my lips became when I applied the serum.   This feeling continued for 3-4 hours.  If you have painfully cracked lips, the serum stays on them for a long time and is likely to be helpful.  However, if you just have dry lips, the unpleasant sticky feeling is not worth it.

Review of Fitglow Beauty Night Lip Serum

Product review: WORTHBUY Slim Storage Cart, 4 Tier

 

The Worthbuy cart is made out of thin plastic and then metal tubes. The materials are very flimsy, the instructions are terrible, and they are missing several critical steps.  

The pieces did not go into each other easily, and I had to use a mallet to make them fit. I measured the height of the partially assembled cart on every step to ensure the cart's height was even on each side. The assembled cart was wobbly and unsteady despite much measuring, checking, and adjusting.

Two critical steps are missing from the instructions:

1. The instructions did not show how to attach the wheels. The wheels fit into a plastic wheel holder two ways, and one of the ways does not fit into the bottom of the tray. I recovered from inserting them the wrong way the first time, but it took a lot of effort to pull them apart.

2. The second problem was that the instructions did not mention the installation of the side wall pieces. I only realized this when the cart was assembled and I had extra pieces left. The side walls had to be threaded through the metal tubes, so the entire cart had to be disassembled to add them. I tried disassembling the cart, but the plastic was so flimsy that it looked like I would break the cart if I tried to pull it apart. I had to leave the cart with side walls missing on the three bottom shelves.

Bottom line: low-quality materials and terrible instructions. I do not recommend this cart.

Product review: TOUCHBeauty Eyebrow Hair Trimmer for Women (comparison to Panasonic Facial Hair Trimmer for Women ES2113PC)

 I am comparing this facial trimmer to Panasonic Facial Hair Trimmer for Women ES2113PC, which I have used for several years. This trimmer does not feel as solidly put together. Its curves do not fit my face as well as the Panasonic trimmer when I work around the eyebrows. However, it does an okay job at about half the price. So for folks who are price sensitive, it could be an acceptable alternative to the top-of-the-line Panasonic trimmer. Both trimmers have two heads, small and tiny; both are battery operated, both are quiet, and both are discrete looking. RouchBeauty trimmer is a solid 4-star.
