Product review: Brori Electric Facial Shaver Razor for Women Bikini Trimmer

 

 This shaver has three heads: rotary shaver for face, flat head for bigger areas like legs or bikini, and small flat razer for eyebrow trimming.  This shaver is larger and louder than my old rotary shaver, but it has a stronger motor and works better than the smaller older shaver. However, neither one of them is as good as "Panasonic Facial Hair Trimmer for Women ES2113PC."  Bottom line: it works, but slower and louder than the top-of-the-line facial trimmer.

Product review: Gazeled Clip On Fan, 10000mAh Battery

 

This fan is almost 8" across, and it can move 360 degrees in two directions, so I can aim it at any angle I want. It has a large clip that can serve as a stand, the clip opens up to 2" wide, and holds well. I can mount it in many places; I like clipping it to a shelf, so it blows at me while working at my desk.  

The fan has three speeds: low, medium, and high. The fan is very quiet on the low setting, and the noise gets a little louder with increased airflow. It is surprisingly powerful on the high setting. I have several clip fans, and by comparison, it blows stronger than any of them.

This fan has a built-in battery and can charge with either mini USB or Type C USB cords. It can run plugged or on a battery.

The fan is made out of heavy-duty plastic (the fan cage and the stand). The fan is steady on its base and makes no clanking noises.  This fan is a terrific clip fan for anywhere in the house, but I think it is too big for a stroller.

Product review: Haven Toothbrush Cover

 

 These toothbrush covers work well for adult and child toothbrushes.  They open like a clip with a hinge.  They keep the toothbrush clean.  Because of the clip, they are much larger than my old toothbrush covers, but they feel solid and well made.

Product review: Vitruvi Move Cordless Diffuser, Ultrasonic Essential Oil Wireless Diffuser for Aromatherapy

 

This cordless diffuser has a good idea of operating cordlessly, but it is not reliable. It worked well for one day (meaning had a reasonable amount of mist that I could see with my eyes), but on day two, after a full recharge, I could no longer see any mist; I could only feel it a little bit if I put my hand against the opening.  On the first day, it operated for 4 hours (I turned off the light effects not to waste the battery on light). On the second day, it worked only for 1 hour without any visible mist.

The cordless diffuser is a good idea because you can put it anywhere without wires getting in the way.  Wireless charging for a diffuser is not a good idea because cordless charging is slower.  I would much rather have a cord that plugs directly into the diffuser and have the diffuser charge faster. I would also like to have a bigger, more reliable battery. If I can't see the mist, it is not generating enough moisture to humidify the air. This design might be sexy, but it is not practical.

Product review: Modvel Deluxe Shiatsu Heating Pillow Kneading Massager

 

 The massager works by rotating the four malls inside of the pillow with an optional heat setting.  The heat is pretty low level; it is too low to make any difference.  

This massager fits the back of my office chair. It comes with an adjustable belt and an extension belt, so it should fit just about any office chair.  When I am not using it, I turn it around so it hangs in the back of the chair.

The massage action is pretty good; you can control how hard the massage is by how much you press against the balls.  The position of the balls is pretty limited, but it does hit one problem area for my painful shoulder well.  If you press the balls to the wrong area, it can be quite painful because the balls are plastic and very hard, no give at all.  The bottom line is that this massager is pretty good, but I find the rubber LaCrosse ball pressed against a wall more effective because I can change where the pressure is in a much more flexible fashion.

Product review: Serene Drops - Individually Packaged Hand Sanitizer, Travel Size, Disinfectant Spray

 

This listing contains one spray. I imagined that the travel size spray would be smaller.  It is 5/8" thick and 4"H x 2.25"W. It is a bit too thick to put into a pocket.

The spray works by pressing the button at the top.  The button is not protected in any way, and it gets accidentally pressed in my purse by the wallet and other things. So it does not work well for carrying in my purse.

I found that keeping in my car's cup holder is the best way to keep it safe while it is not in use.

The spray system works well; however, I wish it was unscented.  Alcohol scent evaporates quickly, the perfume smell of the spray lingers on my hands for a long time.  It is disappointing that the unscented option is not available.  Most people I know prefer unscented disinfectants.  I think it would be a popular option if it were available.

Product review: Digital Hearing Aid Hearing Amplifier, Brand: YWFJYXDRM

 

 The hearing aid comes in a nice package.  The package includes a hearing aid for one ear, a carrying case, two batteries, and extra ear tips.  The case is very nice and closes securely.

This hearing aid is an amplifier; it makes sounds louder.  It does not correct hearing loss if the hearing is lost at specific ranges.  

The main issue I had with it was that I found it hard to control the whistling sound it makes.  The instructions do not explain how to fix it, what causes it.  The high pitch whistling sound is unpleasant.  

To control the volume, you need to use the small buttons on the back.  The plus and minus printed on buttons are very small printed in faint color; I could not see them until I saw an enlarged photo I made for this review.

It is hard to turn the hearing aid off; you have to take the battery out to turn it off (which requires you to have dextrous fingers).  The battery is tiny and is easy to lose.  The case has a place for a battery, but it just an indentation within a case; I wish it had a battery compartment that closed to keep the battery from being lost.

The documentation that comes with the hearing aid is bad.  First, it covers many hearing aid models, and none of the models matched the name of the model written on the box I received.  I had to guess which one I have by selecting an image in the instructions that looked most like the hearing aid in front of me.   Instructions said that right and left hearing aids are marked by red and blue dot. My hearing aid had no colorful dots.  Instructions did not explain how to fix whistling noises.  The documentation did not provide sufficient and clear guidance.

I got this hearing aid for my elderly mother, who is not good with technology, and this hearing is too hard for her to use.  It is hard for her to keep the sound at the right level, it is hard to deal with whistling noises, and it is hard to turn off.
