Product review: XINHOME Pill Organizer Box with Snap Lids| 7-day AM/PM or 14 days / Pill box with Large compartments

I was looking for a new pill organizer is that the old one I have been using became too small to hold all the pills I need to take. The size of each compartment is not clearly marked and I was not totally sure if it would be the right size, so I will start with size.

The inside dimensions of each compartment are:
1.5" long x 1" wide x 1" depth

The outside dimensions of the entire pill box (14 containers):
7.25" long x 2.5" wide x 1.25" height

I also measured how many pills of common size I was able to fit into each compartment.

I can fit four 600mg Calcium pills at the bottom on one compartment.  And I can put a second layer of these pills on top of the first layer and still close the lid.

I can fit six Omega 3 gel capsules in one one compartment and still close it.

1. Very roomy
2. Each lid is marked with a day of the week plus 'am' or 'pm'
3. AM and PM sides have different colors another aid in remembering what pills you already took and which ones you need to take. Alternatively it can hold 2 weeks of medications.
4. The closure of each compartment is tight, it closes with a satisfying click. I can turn it upside down and pills do not fall out.

Product review: Foot Spa Massager With Interchangable Massage Rollers from LuxorWare

I like the action of this foot spa.  It feels really nice on my feet.  I like it now (summer) but I think I will REALLY enjoy it in the winter as my feet get very cold as a result of Raynaud syndrome.

Initially, I could not stop the spa from beeping continuously.  Beeping is not relaxing and I wanted it to stop. There was no information about beeping in the manual and I contacted the manufacturer who provided additional information and said Luxorware will add this information to the manual.  Turns out beeping was due to the fact that the water I used to fill the spa was warmer than the desired temperature I set on the unit (I used warm water to make it more efficient). There are two ways to stop the beeping (1) increased desired temperature on the unit or  (2) wait for the water to cool off.

The spa comes with two rollers.  Both feel good.  Tai Chi roller is my favorite, I like how it feels on  my toes.  The modes with waves and bubbles are not something my feet feel.

The spa has three modes (preset temperature and time). To change modes you turn on the unit and then press auto mode button.  The temperature and time can also be changed individually by using buttons dedicated to time and temperature.

The spa is quite large. In attached photo I show it in the bathroom next to the toilet and they are about the same size.  The spa is 19" long, 16" wide, and 15" height.   The rollers are 10 inches long. The inside length of the spa is 14" long (i.e. this is the longest size foot it will fit if the toes and heels were touching front and back wall).

I like that it comes with FGCI AC power plug - water and electricity do not mix and this is a nice safety feature.

Is there anything I do not like? Yes. How it drains. It has a short drain hose. To drain the spa I have to lift the whole thing into the tub to make it drain unto the tub. When it is filled with water it is fairly heavy but it has a handle which lets you lift it.  The final 8 or so ounces do not drain out even if I tilt the unit, so it always has a bit of water left.

Product review: Ailasia Beauty French Argan Oil Incredible Moisturizing Conditioner

This conditioner has a tropical scent - a mix of coconut and flowers.  I use it in combination with Ailasia shampoo.  Both have similar scents that are pleasant but not too strong.

I have been using Argan oil in my hair (on the recommendation of my hairdresser) for a couple of years.
The argan oils conditioner has Argan oils as the 12th ingredient (the shampoo has it has the 9th ingredient), so it is not the same as using a drop of Argan oil and massaging in into my scalp as my hairdresser recommends. I use oil as a follow-up treatment.

The shampoo is made in USA and it has no sulfates or parabens in its ingredients.

Overall, smells nice, feels pleasant, hair looks good.

Product review: Bounabay Men's Skeleton Automatic Mechanical Wrist Watches with Leather Band

This watch comes in a very plain packaging, just a plastic bag and some bubble wrap.  But what it lacks in presentation it makes up how catchy the watch itself looks. Most of the watch face and back is glass  which reveal the gears of the mechanical watch. Yes, the background of fears makes it a little more difficult to read the time, but chances are if you like mechanical watches this is not a problem.  My husband likes mechanical watches and he loves seeing all the gears moving.

This watch shows only time (no date or any other features).  It does have have three hands, showing seconds as well as hours and minutes.

The band is made out of real leather and fits wrists from 6 1/2" (first hole) to 7 3/4" (last hole).

The face is 1.3" wide, the watch os 0.5" thick.

The watch runs on a combination of manual winding and self winding from the arm swinging. On one full manual rewind (plus whatever little help the watch gets from self-winding). To see how long it would run one full wind my husband wound it on Saturday, did not wind it again and just wore during his regular days until it stopped on Tuesday.  My husband has a desk job, so he does not move his arm too much. Someone who does a lot of activity during the day will get more benefit from the self-winding mechanism.

Product review: ProEtrade Women Wool Comfort Knit Printing Winter Boot Crew Socks

This is a set of wool socks in solid colors.  The socks are made out of a blend of fibers: 80% Wool, 15% Terylene and 5% Spandex.  I would describe them as thin wool socks, they feel soft.  I have small feet (7.5 shoe size) and these socks fit me very well - the heel is in the right place. The socks extend 7" above my ankle.

Looking at any garment inside out really tells you about the quality of the constructions. These socks look very neat, they low flat seams and no bulges at the toes. They very comfortable and soft.

I was happy to see that the socks were not stapled together for shipping. They are kept together just by a paper label. Perfect!

Product review: AC Infinity AIRCOM S8, Quiet Cooling Blower Fan System 17" for Receivers, Amps, DVR, AV Cabinet Components

This cooling pad is similar to a laptop cooling pad but it is designed to cool from the top rather than from the bottom and is designed for devices such as cable DVR boxes.  My DVR box has been running warm and to keep it cold I actually used a laptop cooling pad upside down.  This works much better.

The cooling pad's job is to create circulation. The air should blow towards the device you trying to cool.  How well it cools depends not on the power of the cooling pad but on the amount of the ventilation holes in the device.  It is also a good idea to vacuum the holes every now and then as dust can clog the holes and reduce circulation.

The cooling pad his 3 fans on the bottom and blows exhaust from the sides.  What I really like is that the top is flat and can be used to put something on top of it.  I have a lot of computer components stacked up on top of each with ventilation between them and this works beautifully.  I got ventilation and gained an extra empty surface.

Product review: Amcrest ATC-1201G 12MP Digital Game Cam Trail Camera with remote control

We are big animals lovers and I own several wild cams so we can observe the wildlife visitors we are lucky to get every day. This wild cam has a notably different user interface.  It has a screen on the outside of the case rather than on the inside like other camera. To navigate the menus the camera uses a remote control  rather than buttons on the inside of the case.  Why is this significant?  Because it makes it easier to aim the camera to get just the right framing.

The camera has good motion sensor and is activated only when something interesting is happening, so every video it captures has something good on it. The camera can be mounted in a number different (strap to attach to a tree or a tripod mount).  I am using the tripod.

Video quality: videos are very sharp.  In many situations the videos are excellent.  Sometimes in very bright sunlight the camera overexposes. The video during the night uses infrared videos (black and white). I included clips taken during the day and during the night.

The user interface is menu driven and is very intuitive, I show it in the attached video to give you a better idea of how it feels to use it.

The camera runs on eight AA batteries (not included). The battery life is pretty good.  After running for a week taking hundreds of videos every day the camera's battery indicator shows that it is half full. SD card is not included. The camera produces AVI and JPG output.

This camera case is robust.  The tripod with the camera has been knocked down by animals several times, and the camera still running, no problems. The case is waterproof and has been out in several rain storms without any problems. The case is 5.25" tall x 3.25" wide x 1.75" thick.

Overall, I am very pleased. I love being able to have a glimpse into the life of our wild life visitors.
