Product review: Progresso Traditional Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup (food review)

Progresso chicken noodle soup is my "emergency" meal when there is no time to prepare anything else.  Progresso has a large number of chicken noodle soup variations.  In this review I evaluating creamy chicken noodle.  This is a pretty thick soup, not watery.  The base of the soup is pretty flavorful and not too salty. I like it better then the traditional version of the soup as the creaminess helps hide the blandness of the chicken pieces. The soup does not taste as good as home-made soup but a pretty good emergency meal.

Product review: Gleebom LED Solar Flood Light Motion Sensor

Gleebom LED light has two mounting options: it comes with a fall mount and tall stake mount.  It has a large LED panel (6.5" x 5.5") and two LED lights. Each led panel is 3.5" x 2.5", and each light can be aimed independently with a good radius up and down and side to side.

Two lights generate decent lighting for about 20-25 feet.  I am using the stake option using all three sections together to put the lights at 17" from the ground.

The light runs on a 4500 mAh LiFePO4 rechargeable battery. The light needs at least 5 hours of direct light to recharge.

Product review: LA FERMIERE Honey French Yogurt, 4.9 Ounce

I purchased La Fermiere yogurt at a local Whole Foods store. Honey flavored yogurt is very dense and rich and has a very nice recognizable honey flavor.  It is not too sweet and is a very satisfying treat overall. 190 calories (1 serving = 1 container).

It comes in a nice reusable container.  The only thing I would change I would make it come with a re-usable cover as well, not just foil.

Product review: Stonewall Kitchen Apricot Cherry Jam

Stonewall Kitchen always has interesting combinations of fruits in their jams and this is one of them. I like the tartness from the cherry and the sweetness from the apricot. Great overall flavor! The jam has a lot of fruits, nice jam to spread.

Product review: Del Monte Canned Yellow Cling Peach Halves in Syrup

These sliced peaches are pretty tasty whether you eat them right as they are, use as a tart topper, or sauce.  My latest encounter is part of a low residue diet and these peach halves were one of the very few items allowed that were actually tasty on this diet.  Thumbs up!

Product review: Maytex Metal Double Roller Glide Shower Curtain Ring/Hooks, Brushed Nickel

 I can't believe I just discovered that these double hooks exist - Amazon also-boughts showed them to me after another purchase. I have been using a liner and a shower curtain for years using a single hook, so every time I needed to replace the liner or wash the shower curtain I had to remove both. These hooks work so much better!  Both the liner and the shower curtain on stay on better, and they are much easier to remove and put on too. Such a small thing is a big time saver.

Product review: AZTECLOUD US Collapsible File Box Storage Organizer

Aztecloud filing boxes are sturdy boxes that allow files to be hung in either direction.  Even though I am hanging files in a shorter direction, I inserted all four metal rods to give the box more strength in its structure.  The boxes are made out of heavy-duty cardboard covered by the fabric. They look better than my plastic filing bins.

I needed new filing boxes because I ran out of space in the old boxes, these two boxes are very roomy it will take me a long time to fill them again.

I store two boxes on top of each, they stack well.

Product review: Crocs Unisex Classic Blitzen III Clog lined clog

 

I have tried Blitzen Crocs and Lined Classic Crocs as my first Prime Wardrobe purchase.   I have owned a number of Crocs.  I found them extremely comfortable. No one buys Crocs for looks,  people buy them for comfort.  Normally they have great arch support and a very comfortable sole.

Blitzen Crocs do not feel like Crocs to me, they have no arch support and do not feel as comfortable as my previous Crocs.  One big positive is that the liner is removable and can be washed, however when I remove my foot with a wool sock the liner was sticking out of the shoe as it got friendly with the sock.

I was glad this was a Prime Wardrobe purchase as part of the deal is that you try things on without a commitment.  The Classic Croc was as comfortable as I am used to.  With Prime Wardrobe I could try on both shoes (inside, keeping all the labels attached) and then return whatever did not fit as well as I expected.  This worked very smoothly, I was only charged for the pair I kept.

Product review: Millefleur 300-Thread Count Wrinkle-Free Cotton Sateen Fitted Sheet from The Company Store

Millefleur 300-Thread fitted sheet has a pretty design and the blue color matches the blue in the Genevieve duvet cover.  I like that the elastic goes all the way around the sheet.

The only unpleasant surprise I had with this purchase was the depth of the sheet pocket.  The Company Store description says that the fits mattresses up to 16" high. However, the pocket seam is 13.5" as you see in the attached photo.  So it is a little too shallow for 16" mattress, I still need to use sheet suspenders to hold the sheet on the mattress which makes changing sheets a little harder.

I measured the pocket seam before and after laundry and the sheet did not shrink, the measurements were the same.

The Company Store carries high end and fairly expensive bedding and towels but often runs special sales 25% to 50%.
